I co-directed two music videos with Alex Newell, working closely with them to translate a strong personal vision into distinct visual identities—both produced with small crews and limited resources.

Basically Over You

A narrative-driven video inspired by early-90s pop culture and Sex and the City–era aesthetics. Shot over two days across New York City, the video follows a playful revenge fantasy built around a house-party takeover—stylized, character-led, and performance-forward.

This Ain’t Over

The first visual introduction of Alex as a solo artist. Designed as a reveal, the video centers the voice over identity—using neon black-light face paint to create an abstract, almost animated presence without distraction. Though it appears VFX-driven, the look was achieved almost entirely in-camera with practical techniques in a small studio.

I co-directed, produced, and edited the piece.

Both videos were built through close collaboration, creative trust, and minimal infrastructure—allowing performance, voice, and visual concept to carry the work.
