Music was my first language.
Before film, before labels, before video, I was classically trained—euphonium, trumpet, trombone—performing in orchestral, symphonic, and jazz ensembles. I sang opera as a child with the Metropolitan Opera Children’s Choir at Lincoln Center, performing hundreds of times over several years. I studied music formally, earned scholarships, and ranked All-Eastern for euphonium.
After school, I spent seven years in a band—writing, producing, performing, designing artwork, building websites, pressing CDs, booking shows, and making our videos. That band was Secrets of the Bend.
That experience—owning every part of the creative ecosystem—is what eventually led me into the music industry, and later into directing and producing visual work. I grew up on MTV. I was obsessed with how sound and image shaped identity.
AI didn’t pull me away from music. It pulled me back to it.
Over the past year, I’ve been developing three original AI-driven projects. These are not experiments for clients, and not tech demos. They are authored works—built from my own songs, my own lyrics, my own history—using AI as a tool for exploration, distance, and reinvention.
Together, they form an interconnected creative universe.
AMELIE IDRIS
Amelie Idris began as a question I’ve carried for twenty years.
Much of the music I wrote in my band was always imagined—privately—with a female voice. With modern AI tools, I was finally able to explore that intuition. Amelie is built entirely from my original writing and compositions, reinterpreted through a new vocal identity and a carefully developed narrative world.
Over the last six months, I’ve focused on deep development: identity, lore, tone, visual language, and social presence. Amelie isn’t a gimmick or a face swap—she’s a poetic vessel for themes of collapse, longing, memory, and becoming.
A full body of work is planned for release beginning in 2026.
SECRETS OF THE BEND
In parallel, I’ve returned to Secrets of the Bend—not as nostalgia, but as re-authorship.
This project is a hybrid: original recordings, AI-assisted reinterpretations, and human performance layered together. It’s a reimagining of who we were twenty years ago, made with the clarity and intention I didn’t yet have. An EP is planned for release in 2026.
Where Amelie is introspective and mythic, Secrets of the Bend is unapologetic—raw, emotional, and human.
MADDICUSS D
Maddicuss D is my mirror.
An AI-driven persona that allows me to speak more freely—philosophically, creatively, sometimes uncomfortably—about authorship, vulnerability, and life inside professional systems. It’s a mask that creates distance from my executive identity, and in doing so, reveals something more honest.
The System
All three projects are built using a full stack of modern tools—Suno, Runway, Higgsfield, ChatGPT, audio design workflows, and visual systems—combined with traditional songwriting, production, and editorial discipline.
Nothing is scraped. Nothing is borrowed.
Every lyric, melody, and source idea traces back to my own work.
The long-term vision is not just releases, but living worlds: music, video, social narrative, collaboration, and eventually live performance—where these identities converge into a shared stage language.
At its core, this work is about authorship in the age of AI.
About using technology as a tool for honesty, not replacement.
About creating something emotionally real inside a new medium.
